Williams Elementary School PTO

As a parent or guardian of a Williams Elementary School student, you are automatically a PTO member. We welcome you to attend the meetings and get involved with your child's school for a few simple reasons:

• Our children benefit.
• We have fun.
• We make a difference.


Commit as much or as little time as you want.

Congratulations and Thank You

Congratulations to our new PTO Treasurer, Shauna Powell and to Kim Egan for being reelected as our PTO Vice President.

Thank you to Heidi Bentz and Sara Garinther for their dedication and support of the PTO and Williams Elementary School over the years. You will be missed.




October PTO Meeting

The October PTO meeting is Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.

The October Meeting Agenda and September Minutes will be available for review under PTO Documents. Please note we will vote on the Budget for the school year.

Childcare will be available for school-age children in the gymnasium.

Fall Cash Calendar Fundraiser

The PTO is selling Cash Calendars for the month of October for our Fall Fundraiser. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students were sent home with 5 Cash Calendars. Additional cash calendars can be found under PTO Documents. There will also be extras in the front office. Please feel free to photocopy calendars.

Each day during the entire month of October, a winner will be drawn by Principal Buchinski. You have 31 chances to win! Each name that is drawn will immediately go back into the pool and will have another chance to win. Prizes range from $25-$200!

If your student (not family) sells at least 5 calendars, your student will receive one FREE additional entry. The PTO will process the FREE entry and include your child's name on the stub. To receive the FREE entry, at least 5 calendars must be stapled together and sent in at the same time.

Please ask your friends and family to support our wonderful school. Monies raised will pay for the academic, enrichment and social programs in addition to the many other activities and events your PTO supports and presents.

All stubs are due by Friday, September 28th. Late stubs will be accepted, but your opportunities to win may be less. All winners will be contacted by telephone. Winners will be posted online on the Williams Elementary School PTO Group Facebook. Winners may pick up their cash prize in the front office at school, or we can mail it to the address provided on the entry slip.

BJ’s Fuel Your Fundraiser

Williams Elementary School PTO is again participating in the BJ’s Fuel Your Fundraiser program and extending a great offer to you. Information and applications have been sent home with students.

You may purchase a NEW membership or RENEW your current membership through Williams PTO and BJ’s will give you:

1. a $15 discount off their $50 Inner Circle Membership or a $25 discount off their $100 Perks Rewards Membership (Plus State tax where applicable),
2. PLUS an additional 1 FREE month (13 months total),
3. a FREE second membership card and
4. BJ’s will donate $5 per application to the William Elementary School PTO.

It does not matter when you last renewed, BJ's will add on 13 months to your current membership regardless of the expiration date.

You may find the special application under PTO Documents.

Feel free to pass this special offer onto your friends and family.

Please return the completed application and payment to school by Friday, September 15, 2017. Checks must be made payable to “BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc.”

Please note that memberships currently enrolled in the BJ’s “Easy Renewal” program are not eligible for this promotion.

Also, BJ's stores will not accept this special application; applications must be processed through Williams PTO.

Attention 5th Grade Parents and Guardians

In the past, the 5th Grade Committee has successfully raised and covered the cost of the end of the year field trip and parents and guardians have not had to pay. Fundraisers have included a bake sale and scratch ticket free raffle for the Primary and November Elections and a can drive.

The first 5th Grade Fundraiser is set for Tuesday, September 19th during the Primary Election and donations and volunteers are needed.
